Elliott is a professional photographer now living in Portland, Maine. His work is primary landscape work - both the natural landscape, as well as cityscapes.

Shooting still primarily on film, Elliott works in both color and black and white. His influences include Eugene Atget, Paul Strand, Bernice Abbott and many more.

Originally from Connecticut, Elliott lived in Washington, D.C. for ten years. His formal training is limited to learning the basics, including darkroom work while at the Berkshire School in Sheffield, Massachusetts. He began his photography career while in D.C., shooting both the grandeur of the Nation's Capitol, but also the aging historic residential areas.

Elliott has been fortunate to spend time in downeast Maine nearly every summer of his life. Now living in Maine, he is exhibiting his work at his new studio gallery in the Arts District of Portland.

Along with pursuing his love of photography, Elliott is licensed to practice law in Maine and Washington, D.C. In November 2007, Elliott established his own law office in Portland.
